Alright people this is not okay!
18 babies born in 2012 with congenital syphilis! WTF! TESTING could have prevented this. So here’s what i’m asking you to do friends. Get tested for syphilis. talk about testing for syphilis. If you have syphilis get it treated and get your partners connected to access to treatment. 13 babies of the 18 babies survived but now suffer life long physical deformities. While you are testing for syphilis, test for HIV they have the same incubation/window period. Do it. Let’s stop syphilis. ♥ i love you

So often we equate class to risk. We forget that it’s now who you are but what you do! Testing often, using condoms, talking about testing and sexual history and being in tune with your body are all ways to help keep our sex lives health.

Unfortunately the case is that if the people “that matter” are affected then it’s a problem. So SOHO, Syph on and maybe we can get some much needed visibility.
